Description:
Amoxicillin is a semisynthetic broad-spectrum penicillin with a bacterial action against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The range of effect includes Campylobacter, Clostridium, E. coli, Erysipelothrix, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, penicillinase-negative Staphtlococcus and Streptococcus spp. The bactericial actionis due to inhibition of cell wall synthesis. Amoxicillin is mainly excreted in urine. A major part can also be excreted in bile.
Indications:
Amoxicillin mainly uses for treatment the infections caused by gram positive and negative bacteria which susceptible to penicillin. It is suitable to cure the diseases in poultry and livestock: fevers, losses of appetite, constipation, be laid up, short of breath and abdominal breath. To domestic animal’s flu, nameless fever, the bacillary dysentery, acute gastroenteritis; pig’s erysipelas, pneumonic plague, piglet’s diarrhea, paratyphoid, stickness from E. coli, brucella, mycoplasma, leptospirosis, poultry’s cholera, chicken’s dysentery, salpingitis; the cow, pig’s mastitis, endometritis, syndrome of milkless also has very good curative effect.
Contra-indications:
Hypersensitivity to amoxicillin.
Administration to animals with a seriously impaired renal function.
Concurrent administration of tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.
Administration to animals with an active microbial digestion.
Side effects:
In individual domestic livestock may appears allergy reaction,as oedema but rare.
Dosage:
Intramuscularly or subcutaneously injection.
For livestock 5-10mg amoxicillin on 1kg body weight, one time daily; or 10-20mg per 1kg body weight, one time for two days.

Milk: 7days;
Egg: 7days.
