Description:
Florfenicol belongs amphenicols broad-spectrum antibiotics, against a variety of gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria and mycoplasma have a strong antibacterial activity. Florfenicol is primarily a bacteriostatic agent, by binding to the ribosomal 50s, inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. Florfenicol in vitro antibacterial activity of many microorganisms and chloramphenicol, thiamphenicol similar or stronger, because some of the acetylation of chloramphenicol-resistant bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Dr. Craig, are still possible florfenicol sensitive. Hemolytic Pasteurella, Pasteurella multocida and Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae florfenicol highly sensitive.
Pharmacokinetics: florfenicol oral rapidly absorbed, about an hour later to reach therapeutic levels in the blood, 1-3 hours up to the peak plasma concentration. Bioavailability of more than 80% ‘Florfenicol is widely distributed in animals, can pass through the blood brain barrier, the main raw drug from the urine, a small amount from the feces.
Pharmacological Interactions
(1) the role of macrolides and lincosamides targets with the product is the same, are combined with the bacterial 50s ribosomal subunit, can produce mutual antagonism in combination.
(2) may antagonize the killing activity of penicillin or aminoglycosides, but has not yet been demonstrated in animals.
Indications for sensitive bacteria and Poultry and fish bacterial diseases. Such as hemolytic Pasteurella multocida, Pasteurella multocida and radiation pleuropneumoniae bacteria cause porcine respiratory infections caused by salmonella typhoid and paratyphoid, fowl cholera, salmonellosis, Escherichia coli. Fish Pasteurella, Vibrio, Staphylococcus aureus, Aeromonas hydrophila, fish enteritis caused by microorganisms bacterial sepsis, enteritis, red skin disease.

Dosage and Administration:
Orally, well homogenized into feed.
Livestock : 0.5kg mixed in 1000kgs feeds 
Poutry :0.5-1kg mixed in 1000kgs feeds ,keep 3days and if prevention the amount reduce half 
Fish:0.5kg mixed in 1000kgs feeds 

Withdrawal Period:
Livestock: 20 days ,poutry 5days and fish 375 degree days

In the original packing, well closed, in dry and well-ventilated facilities protected from direct sunlight
