[Main ingredients]:

Each 50gram contains:

Amoxicillin 5g

Clavulanate Potassium 1.25g

[Character]:

White or off-white powder.

[Pharmacological action]:

Amoxicillin belongs to β-lactam class of antimicrobial drugs, with a broad spectrum of antimicrobial action. The antimicrobial spectrum and antimicrobial activity were basically the same as that of Ampicillin. The antimicrobial activity against most gram-positive bacteria was slightly weaker thant that of penicillin, and it was sensitive to penicillinase. So it was ineffective against penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. It has a strong effect on gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Proteus, Salmonella, Haemophilus, Brucella and Pasteurella, but these bacteria are easy to develop drug resistance. It is not sensitive to Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Because its absorption in monogastric animals is better than Ampicillin and its blood concentration is higher, it has a better effect on systemic infection. It is suitable for respiratory system, urinary system, skin and soft tissue infection caused by sensitive bacteria.

Amoxicillin is fairly stable to gastric acid and is absorbed by 74% to 92% after internal administration in monogastric animals.

[Drug Interaction]:

① This product comined with aminoglycosides can improve the concentration of the latter in bacteria, showing synergistic effect.

② Macrolides, tetracyclines and amides and other quick bacteriostatic agents have interference effect on the bactericidal action of this product, so it is not suitable for use.

[Indications]:

β-lactam antibiotics. For infection caused by penicillin sensitive bacteria of chicken.

[Usage and dosage]:

Chicken: mix with 1L of water. Use twice a day for 3-7 days.

No adverse reactions were found according to the prescribed usage and dosage.

[Cautions]:

① Laying hens are forbidden during laying period.

② This product aqueous solution is not stable , to use it right after it was ready.
