Ivermectin and Closantel Injection
Composition:
Each Ml Contains:
Ivermectin………………………………………………10mg
Closantel (as closantel sodium dihydrate)…………..50mg
Solvents(ad)……………………………………….………1ml
Indications:
Treatment of gastrointestinal worms, lungworms, liverflukes, oestrus ovis infections, lice
and scabies infestation in cattle, sheep, goat and swine.
Dosage AndAdministration:
For subcutaneous administration.
Cattle, sheep and goats: 1 ml per 50 kg body weight.
Pigs: 1ml per 33 kg body weight.
Contraindications:
Ivermectin and closantel injection is not for intravenous or intramuscular use.
Avermectins may not be well tolerated in all non-target species (cases of intolerance with fatal outcome are reported in dogs –Especially collies, old english sheepdogs and related breeds or crosses, and also in turtles/tortoises).
Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.
Withholding Period:
Meat: cattle, sheep and goats 28 days
Swine 21 days
Milk: do not administer to lactating animals whose milk is used for human consumption.
Storage:
Store below 25°c, protect from light.
